Enroll

You can enroll in an Anthem Blue Cross medicare supplement plan at anytime of the year.  Anthem has a paper application along with an online application, whichever you prefer.  Call for the enrollment form or help with the online application.

The application process typically takes two weeks from start to finish.  Once approved you will receive the ID card and policy in the mail within a week of approval.

Open enrollment:

  • New to Medicare – 6 month open enrollment.
  • Leaving employer health insurance – 2 month open enrollment.
  • Here is a list of other Open-Enrollment situations

Open-Enrollment allows you to enroll in a company/plan without answering any health or prescription questions.  Your plan approval is guaranteed regardless of your health status.

Medicare Part D Rx coverage

Medicare Supplement policies do not include the Medicare Part D Rx coverage.  You will need to enroll in a Part D plan to help with your prescription costs.  There are typically 25 plans in each county and if you call me, I can run a comparison of these plans and send you the results which are the best three plans for your medication list.

Medicare Part D Rx coverage … this will give you a better idea of how the plans work.

Anthem Dental

When seeing an Anthem dentist you will enjoy a 25% to 40% savings right off the top, because of the contracted rates.

These initial savings are available during waiting periods and when you are past your annual maximum benefits.

Your dental costs are reduced even more with the plan insurance coverage of 50% to 80% depending on the services provided.  Along with over 87,000 contracted offices nationwide.

Save 20% to 30% with a network dentist and another 50% to 80% with the insurance coverage.

You may want to think about buying your dental and vision separate from
your medical plan. Separate plans usually offer more choices and may have more benefits to meet your needs.

No Cost Help … there is no charge for my services.  The insurance companies provide a fee for me to help with coverage options, enrollment and service.
