Anthem Medicare Supplement plans offered in Indiana are; A, F and N. The most popular plan is Plan F, plan N does not cover the Part D deductible or the Part B Excess Charges, and after the Part B deductible is satisfied with Plan N, you will have a $20 office visit copay whenever you visit a doctor. - Remember you can switch Medicare Supplement companies anytime during the year. Medicare Supplement plans do not offer “Annual Open-Enrollment Periods.” So you are able to shop for a new plan anytime of the year.
- Medicare Advantage (HMO’s & PPO’s) are the plans which have the open-enrollment period during the months of November and December each year.

If you are not yet age 65 be sure to enroll in the Medicare Part B plan. If you have not received the application for enrollment you can call the Social Security (800-772-1213) Admin and they will send you the paperwork. Also, you will need a Medicare Part D Rx plan, if you don’t already have one. You can start with the Medicare.gov website, which you can enter your prescriptions and the results will give you the different companies and plans which are available in your county.
